Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences
The Personnel Psychology and Human Resource Management (PP/HRM) program is designed to provide human resource professionals, and those preparing for a career in human resources, the tools to be effective managers. This unique program blends courses in industrial/organizational psychology, business administration, and human development offering students multiple perspectives on issues facing human resource managers.
A team of experienced faculty is available to assist students in course selection and career advising. This interdisciplinary degree also offers optional internships for students desiring experience in a human resource environment. Additionally, there are opportunities for membership in the WSU Vancouver Human Resource Society, a student club for those interested in HR issues.
Students pursuing the B.A. in Social Sciences with a major in Personnel Psychology/ Human Resource Management must take 40 credits in their major and complete WSU General Education requirements. Students must be admitted to the university if they are seeking a degree. A complete list of the specific course requirements in the PP/HRM major are provided below.
