Opportunities for students

Internships

Internships are optional, but you are encouraged to participate in an internship or volunteer opportunity relevant to your studies. If you are hoping to move directly into the workforce after graduation, an internship is particularly recommended.

Here are some of the local institutions that have hosted social science interns:

  • Clark County Juvenile Court
  • Clark County Department of Community Services
  • Council for the Homeless
  • Daybreak Youth Services
  • Innovative Services NW
  • Washington Department of Social and Health Services
  • Washington State Legislature
  • YWCA
