  1. Scholarships are available at WSU Vancouver and the university's funding partners offer a very impressive list of opportunities. Qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. WSU Vancouver students may also apply for scholarships offered through the Pullman campus. Visit the scholarships link for more information. You can apply online or download the appropriate forms. 2. Career Action Center offers career counseling appointments, workshops, and a variety of other events and resources to help you with career exploration and planning. Services are free to current students and alumni of WSU Vancouver. They can help with job and internship seeking, resume and cover letter editing, etc. This is an invaluable resource that it is up to you to utilize.
  3. Office of Student Involvement experiences are critical to your college experience. Joining a club or participating in leadership or community service can be a great way to put what you are learning in the classroom to use in another setting. We highly encourage you to join a club (major-related or otherwise), participate in student government, or participate in any of the community-based activities you can access through Student Involvement.
  4. Center for Intercultural Learning and Affirmation strives to increase access to higher education for students of diverse backgrounds and to promote an inclusive environment for diverse students. A wide variety of activities and networking, leadership, and service opportunities are available through CILA.
  5. Math and Science Skills Center offers free, drop-in tutoring for math, physics, chemistry, and statistics. Check their website for the tutoring schedule for the current semester.
  6. The WSU Vancouver Writing Center is an important destination for all students. Students tend to think that only students who struggle with writing go to the Writing Center. This is not true. The tutors in the Writing Center provide an educated audience for writers and will work collaboratively with you to make your writing the best it can be. Tutors can help with your thesis, organization, and even idea development. Writing Center tutors help over 800 students a month with their writing assignments.
  7. Counseling Services are free to WSU Vancouver students. Counseling Services counselors are available to assist with problems and concerns that arise while you are a student at WSU Vancouver. If you are struggling with personal issues that are affecting your ability to be successful in school or in your personal life, don’t hesitate to make an appointment.
